I am an MA student in UW's Experimental Digital Media program. I enjoy researching dis/embodiment, and the phenomenology of digital media, in particular via haptic technologies (those which address the sense of touch). My background is in English and Film Studies, and I tend to study the 'body genres' of horror, pornography, and melodrama. I also tend to gravitate to games that are narrative-heavy with lots of viscerally jarring moments and pathos, yet I can be a Tetris fiend. FIEND.
