We’ve reserved space at two KW pubs for post-unconference socializing, sustenance and drinks on Friday and Saturday evening, starting at 6pm:
Friday, July 12: Barley Works Public House and Grill (upstairs in The Huether Hotel), 59 King St N, Waterloo; 6pm onwards
Saturday, July 13: McCabe’s Irish Pub & Grill, 352 King St W, Kitchener; 6pm onwards

Looking for something to do in KW after Barley Works on Friday night? Head downtown for Cruising on King! Note: King Street (in Kitchener) will be closed to regular traffic this evening. Buses will be rerouted.

Public Gaming Event: 10am – 5pm; Main Floor
THATCamp Design Lab: 10am – 2pm; Classrooms (registered campers)
Get IMMERSed! is a day-long public gaming event hosted by the University of Waterloo Games Institute in conjunction with the THATCamp IMMERSe unconference. It will feature a showcase of games provided by both the Games Institute and our THATCamp attendees, consisting of everything from popular console and PC games to lesser known indie titles to graduate student projects to nondigital tabletop board and card games to interactive videos. The main floor event will conclude with brief wrap-up presentations from a coinciding THATCamp Design Lab. Gamers of all ages are welcome to come out and get IMMERSed!
